What size cage does a budgie need?
For a pair of budgies choose a cage at least 45 cm long with horizontal bars for climbing. Wider is better than taller, because birds fly side to side.
Can birds eat only seeds?
Seeds are high in fat and low in some vitamins. A mix of pellets, seeds, greens and occasional fruit is healthier.
How do I keep birds warm in winter?
Keep the cage away from windows and draughts, and cover it with a breathable cloth at night.
